As we restart our initiative with full force, we want to take a moment to look back at where it all began. In 2017, we held our very first planting day - a humble beginning that planted the seeds for what we hope to build.
That day was special, though, and very insightful. It was a fun team event, everyone was excited to start planting some trees! Most us has never done that before. The work was hard - digging holes, carrying saplings, battling the elements - but the spirit was great.
Our initiative has been dormant for the past few years. Life, circumstances, and various challenges led us to step back from active operations. But that doesn't mean we forgot about our mission or the trees we planted that day. We've been watching, learning, and preparing for this moment.
